At PORTO INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM FESTIVAL, we believe short films are more than just a medium for storytelling—they are windows into unique perspectives and cultures. Our vision is to provide filmmakers, both established and emerging, with a space to showcase their work, fostering a global dialogue through the universal language of cinema.
Supporting Emerging Filmmakers: We aim to offer filmmakers from all over the world a platform to showcase their talent, helping their films gain recognition on an international stage.

Each year, the PORTO INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM FESTIVAL invites talented short film creators from around the world to submit their works. Selected films are screened over five days, covering multiple categories such as Fiction, Documentary, Animation, and Student Shorts.
